Sian’s path to coaching excellence has been shaped by the guidance of numerous visionary mentors. Despite her school’s lack of competitive netball opportunities at the highest levels, this circumstance proved to be a blessing in disguise. It propelled Sian towards elite coaching channels, where she thrived, excelled, and absorbed invaluable insights from the best in the field.
Now, equipped with a wealth of experience and expertise, Sian is determined to share her journey with others. Many of her former mentors have become her close associates and partners, forming a network of trusted experts whom she collaborates with closely. In Apex Netball, Sian invites you to allow your young player to go on a journey with her, guiding them to their fullest potential and nurturing the next generation of netball stars.

Under Sian’s leadership and captaincy at University of Stellenbosch, Maties won the 1st Gold medal in USSA in 27 years, and in the same year, 2022, they won their maiden Varsity Cup Netball title unbeaten and this was all due to Sian’s leadership. She lead from the front and not only talked the talk, she walked the walk.
I am proud to say that Sian has moved through my hands and is able to reach the highest level, the Spar Proteas. If you are looking for the best when it comes to shooting, in this country, with a skillset, variety, ability to do something different every single time and is a massive headache for defenders; that is Sian Moore.
